Here's a tasty way to wind down at the end of the day- and maybe even catch more z's: Whip up a Mug of Moon Milk! These pretty potions are made with plant- based or regular milk and snooze inducing ingredients! Do they work? The herbs and spices in them help you knock out! Try one of these Recipes:
1. Spice Majik Milk- Blend together 2 1/2 cups Milk of your choice ( I like unsweetened Almond Milk) 3/4 teaspoon Blue Majik ( a good for you extract from algae- Find it on Amazon or at your local Health Food store) and 1 teaspoon Cardamom until Smooth! Warm over low heat!
2. Cardamom Rose Milk- Blend 2 1/2 cups Milk of your choice (unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk is extra tasty here) 3 Tablespoons dried Rose Petals ( Find them at a Tea Shop) and 1 Teaspoon of Cardamom until Smooth! Warm over low heat!
3. Coconut Cashew Milk- In a high powered blender, blend 1 1/2 cups raw Cashews 1 1/2 cups Coconut Water, seeds from 1/2 of a Vanilla Bean 1/4 teaspoon Tumeric and 1 Teaspoon Ashwagandha (an herb used in Ayurvedic healing- Find it on Amazon or at your local Health Food Store) Strain and Warm over low heat!
