That's an important piece of wisdom and one that's easy to forget in My busy, busy life. But taking time to nurture My own needs should not be optional and it's definitely not selfish! In fact it lets you be there for those you love in a deeper, more meaningful way. I've figured out that the most important forms of self - care are exercise and time spent with friends.
A good night's sleep, getting a facial, enjoying a great dinner, buying a new lipstick - there are many ways to self - care! In fact, a good read is a form of self - care if it's in the bathtub, all the better! Take a bath - Grab bath salts or a bath bomb, dim the lights, light a couple of candles, and grab an easy read. Relax in the tub for 40 minutes and you'll feel renewed when it's time to get out! Just make sure you use a good moisturizer after your bath! When you're in need of a bit of "me time" but don't know what to do all by yourself, coating your complexion with face masks is always a good choice! All you need is 10 to 15 minutes and a selection of great face masks to have your own at home multi - masking session!
